Evolution Tower

Evolution Tower, Moscow City

With a height of 255 meters and a total of 54 stories, the Evolution Tower is one of the most impressive skyscrapers of the Russian metropolis. It was built between 2011 and 2014 in cooperation with the Scottish artist Karen Forbes and is part of the Moscow International Business Center.

It earned international fame due to the high degree of “twisting” with which it rises into the sky. It consists of two ribbons that twist around one another so that each story is rotated by 3° compared to the previous story. The tower’s design was inspired by images of Saint Basil's Cathedral and the sculpture of French sculptor August Rodin’s “The Kiss”. Comfortable atmospheric humidity is provided by adiabatic humidifiers by Condair.
